Samuel is a Designer, Engineer, and Maker. He combines an interest in emerging technologies, nature, and the environment, with a passion for rapid prototyping.
He was a Design Researcher in Residence at the Design Museum, exploring the UK’s water quality in relation to its fertiliser use, and was the first Designer in Residence at the Royal Academy of Art, exploring our connection with our waste. As a design engineer at Petit Pli he invented Knot Tile, a knitted textile that expands to fit children from 9 months to 4 years.
He completed a double masters (MA/MSc) in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College, and is currently the Head of Research and Development at TG0.
